Glencoe Farms Encourages Winter Dog Training

BISMARCK, N.D. – Training your dog outside in freezing temperatures is not ideal, but teaching them inside where it is warm is.

Paul McGagh from Glencoe Farms says training your dog every day is very important, even if it is just for a few minutes a day. He says having them be active and absorb new information makes them be good.

BISMARCK, N.D. – Glencoe Farms trains English cocker and springer spaniels to become hunting dogs.

Brodie is an eight-year-old English cocker spaniel.

He’s a field championship winner because of his training at Glencoe Farms.

“Basically, what they’ve done over the last 16 years is, they’ve trained me how to train my dog, which has been a fun journey, it’s a very rewarding experience,” said Scott Bina, owner of Brodie.

1st Place Win!

Congratulations to Jon Hunke, owner/hander of Sheridan Prairie Sunrise “Sonny” for their 1st place win on April 30th in North Dakota and May 7th in Minnesota.  They have now earned their Amateur Field Championship, May 2017!
